This hands-on workshop will teach the basics of grafting with scions gathered from the Dougherty Mission and other Large Surviving Americans (LSAs). Participants can leave with multiple genetics to grow on their own property or to potentially assist with LSA Breeding crosses in the future. Free to attend with donations accepted. Will take place in protected but outside area.
A supply of tools and supplies will be provided, however if participants have their own tools to bring that would be beneficial.
- handheld pruning shears-sharp and clean
- small cutting board
- small sharp knife-dedicated grafting knife, replaceable box cutter/utility knife (my preferred tool) or sharp pocket knife will work.
- Camp style chair/bucket for seating.
